Handbooks for the Training of Laity and Pastoral Agents
These Handbooks are a tool to facilitate understanding and dialogue on migration. They can be considered as material for personal reading and study or as a training tool for groups.
Pastoral Theology and Human Mobility
The program addresses general issues concerning the action and practice of the Christian community as well as specific issues pertaining to human mobility through an interdisciplinary study.
Diploma in Pastoral Care of Human Mobility
Annual online training program structured in two levels or cycles, one fundamental and one advanced. All courses are offered in four languages: Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
SIMI School
In cooperation with other international academic institutions SIMI offers a wide range of courses for students, graduates, pastoral and social workers, and professionals. These programs are addressed to whom, at different levels, intends to know and deepen the understanding of issues related to the phenomenon of human mobility.
Gionate SIMI
Giornate SIMI are a series of seminars open to everyone interested in deepening the understanding of the phenomenon of human mobility with faculty and experts working in the field.
Summer School (Italy)
Every July, in partnership with the Department of Sociology of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, Fondazione Migrantes, and the Scalabrinian Agency for Cooperation and Development, SIMI organizes the Summer School “Migration and Global Justice”.
