From Fiumicino, the\u00a0Leonardo Express train<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0gets you to Termini Station<\/span><\/strong> in about 30 minutes, and from there you can catch a taxi to your hotel. Taxis and shuttles are also available from the airport.<\/p>\n A cheaper option is to take a bus. One single ticket (1,50 euro) is available for 100 minutes but only for one ride on the metro so you may want to consider buying a multi-day transport pass<\/strong><\/a> for unlimited metro, tram, and bus rides, especially if coming before or staying after the conference.<\/p>\n Most buses now have credit card readers on board which you can tap to pay.<\/p>\n Apps like Dropticket allow you to buy tickets on your smartphone (please note they need to be activated as soon as you hop on the bus).<\/p>\n Currency:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Euro. Most places accept credit cards, but having some cash is helpful. The streets of the city of Rome are chaotic and you can easily come across long lines, in particular on the large arteries that lead to the airports.
