On\u00a018 –\u00a021 July 2016 the 7th\u00a0edition of the Summer School on Human Mobility and Global Justice titled, “A Sea of \u200b\u200bHope. Forced migrants on Europe’s doorstep,”\u00a0was held in Lampedusa. Organized by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, in collaboration with the Scalabrini International Migration Institute (SIMI), the Migrantes Foundation and the Scalabrinian Agency for Development Cooperation (ASCS), the seventh edition of the Summer School offered interdisciplinary lessons, testimonies of support and service, workshops and guided tours. There were over 50 participants, including university students, pastoral\u00a0agents and\u00a0professionals on human mobility.
