The\u00a0program was composed of two sessions. The first session, more from\u00a0the historical perspective, was dedicated to the presentation of the contributions\u00a0by\u00a0prof. Matteo Sanfilippo (Bonomelli, Scalabrini and italian emigration), Mgrs. Gian Carlo Perego (The Opera of Bonomelli for emigrants) and\u00a0prof. Giovanni Terragni (The inititives of Scalabrini catering to\u00a0emigrants). The second session intended to highlight\u00a0the\u00a0sociological and pastoral relevance of the reflections proposed by the two Bishops\u00a0of the second half of\u00a0XIX century.
