I am a fellow at Notre Dame&#8217;s <span style=\"color: #336699;\">Klau Institute for Civil and Human Rights<\/span>, through which I have conducted research on reparations for <span style=\"color: #336699;\">racial discrimination<\/span>\u00a0and the <span style=\"color: #336699;\">narratives surrounding\u00a0human rights<\/span> <span style=\"color: #336699;\">violations<\/span> in Chinese and U.S. state affiliated media. I also conduct research on the <span style=\"color: #336699;\">role of indigenous communities in protecting forests and mitigating climate change<\/span>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I am very passionate about migration\u00a0and working to create a <span style=\"color: #336699;\">more just\u00a0immigration system<\/span>, both within the US and globally. I have previously worked to <span style=\"color: #336699;\">organize a public event to connect migrants and refugees with members of the local community<\/span> in order to foster mutual understanding. I&#8217;ve also worked to <span style=\"color: #336699;\">raise funds<\/span> for Jesuit Refugee Service USA and have conducted <span style=\"color: #336699;\">political advocacy work<\/span> surrounding immigration reform at a national and state level in the US.
