On 1 February 2016, at the SIMI headquarters, P. Vengacheriyil Kora Jaim\u00f3n has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis. The dissertation titled, “Migration and Development. Impacts of Migration on Members of the Left – Behind Families in the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly” was highly graded by the moderator, prof. Fabio Baggio, and the correlators, prof. Francis-Vincent Anthony and prof. Ren\u00e9 Manenti. The same\u00a0professors\u00a0composed\u00a0the thesis defense commitee. P.
