SIMI , in the person of the president , participated in the Civil Society Days of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 6 to 8 October 2015. The Forum, at its eighth edition, is a space for reflection and dialogue between governments and civil society on the nexus between migration and development. Within the program it official, SIMI organized a roundtable on the multistakeholder approach to projects that intend to exploit the development potential of migration.
