SIMI is one of the founding members of the Master in International Migration Studies (MIM) coordinated by Universitat de Valencia. MIM is offered to students and professionals coming from all over the world to provide an academic training aimed at effectively understanding the migratory phenomenon both at the socio-political and religious level. Through an interdisciplinary approach integrated in a coherent teaching body, the Master aims at training participants to become experts with an integral vision of the migratory processes in the world, both domestic and transnational, caused by unequal development, social violence or discrimination as a social phenomenon.

The Master programme includes a series of training meetings: “Escuela de Verano”. These meetings are open to everyone interested in the topic of migration and represents an opportunity to further analyse the migratory phenomenon in relations with current issues.
