On 27 November 2015, from 09:00 to 12:30, at the Newman Hall of the Pontifical Urbanian University ( PUU ) the traditional Academic Act of SIMI was held. The theme chosen for the 2015 edition was: “The joys and hopes, the griefs and anxieties … Church and human mobility in the Second Vatican Council.” The two working sessions were composed by the contributions of Prof. Luca Bressan (Theological Faculty of Northern Italy), Professor Sandra Mazzolini (PUU), Prof. Paul Parise (Instituto Theological São Paulo ) and Prof. Maurizio Pettenà (AMCRO, Australian Catholic Bishops Conference). The act was opened by Professor Lorella Congiunti, Deputy Rector of PUU, and Prof. Fabio Baggio, Director of SIMI. The event was closed by prof . Aldo Skoda, Deputy Director of SIMI. Prof. Gioacchino Campese served as MC. Professors and students of SIMI and PUU attended the evento together with numerous Scalabrinian missionaries and other interested people.
