The Italian Catholic Mission in Bern, directed by Fr. Antonio Grasso, in collaboration with the Swiss IOM, the SIMN Europe-Africa and the Katholishce Kirche Region Bern, organized a cycle of two conferences entitled, “The Journeys of Hope towards Bern.” The first conference was held at the auditorium of the Mission on 26 February 2016 and the first presentar was the director of SIMI, to whom the treatment of the theme “Faces at the border: migration flows to the EU” was entrusted. The event brought together a large audience of Italian speakers, who actively participated in the debate that followed the two witnesses proposed by local pastoral agents.
