With Father Giovanni Terragni, cs in charge of the General Archives of the Scalabrinian Congregation, we retrace the history of St. John Baptist Scalabrini. Giovanni Terragni completed his theological studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University and earned a degree in Canon Law at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He was an assistant to university students at the Toniolo boarding school in Rome, an assistant and professor at the Scalabrini-O'Brien high school in Cermenate (Co), and a collaborator at Stella Maris in Genoa. As a founding partner of the Refugee and Migration Education Network, SIMI recently attended the conference on Refugee and Migrant Education hosted at the Pontifical Georgian University in Rome titled Initiatives in Refugee and Migrant Education-Moving Forward, Diving Deeper, Together. The challenges facing the Refugee and Migration Network since the pandemic are numerous, the estimated number of displaced people having surpassed 100 million alongside the economic and social effects of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
